Haverford Crime Blotter: Identity Theft, Stolen Car, Vandalism

Haverford Township Police reported more than a dozen identity theft incidents in the township between June 30 and July 6. See details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their newest crime blotter Wednesday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between June 30 and July 6.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Identity Theft at the 300 block of Steel Road on June 30 at 8:40 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Meadows Lane on June 30 at 6:35 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 2500 block of Chestnut Avenue on June 30 at 8:51 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Belfield Avenue on June 30 at 9:26 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Tunbridge Circle on June 30 at 5:45 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of East Benedict Avenue on July 1 at 9:35 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Fraud at the 200 block of Kenmore Road on July 1 at 10:58 a.m. – Victim reported multiple unauthorized purchases made with his credit card.
  • Identity Theft at the 1700 block of Josie Lane on July 1 at 8:25 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 1300 block of West Chester Pike on July 1 at 8:35 a.m. – Bus stop windows were broken.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on July 2 at 2:20 p.m. – An unknown female filled a shopping basket with merchandise and fled the store. Police recovered the merchandise behind the Vitamin Shoppe.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Ellis Road on July 2 at 1:19 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Meadows Lane on July 2 at 2:44 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Bambi Lane on July 2 at 4:51 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 300 block of Sagamore Road on July 2 at 1:10 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Harvard Road on July 2 at 1:36 a.m. – Vehicle was egged.
  • Identity Theft at the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue on July 3 at 12:42 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Disorderly Conduct at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on July 3 at 1:24 a.m. – A 32-year-old male, 7200 block of Brent Road, Upper Darby was cited for disorderly conduct.
  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on July 5 at 12:33 p.m. – An unknown male stole an unknown amount of merchandise from the store.
  • Theft at the 1400 block of Sunnyhill Lane on July 5 at 12:38 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – vehicle registration and insurance cards were stolen.
  • Identity Theft at the 1400 block of Fairview Avenue on July 5 at 9:15 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Theft at the 500 block of Oxford Road on July 6 at 10:28 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered - $8 was stolen. Theft at the 200 block of Kenmore Road on July 6 at 11:03 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered - $10 was stolen.
  • Theft at the 300 block of Kenmore Road on July 6 at 3:44 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – wallet containing credit cards and identification was stolen.
  • Attempted Theft at the 300 block of Oxford Road on July 6 at 7:38 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
  • Attempted Theft at the 300 block of Oxford Road on July 6 at 7:45 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft at the 500 block of Oxford Road on July 6 at 7:08 a.m. – Two vehicles were stolen from the driveway. The car keys were inside of the vehicle at the time of the theft.
  • Identity Theft at the unit block of Meadows Lane on July 6 at 10:49 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 200 block of Charles Drive on July 6 at 11:12 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 1000 block of Larchmont Avenue on July 6 at 11:53 a.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 1000 block of Allston Road on July 6 at 2:07 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Identity Theft at the 1700 block of Belvedere Avenue on July 6 at 6:30 p.m. - Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Vandalism at the 800 block of East Darby Road on July 6 at 9:23 a.m. – Glass bottles were shattered on the sidewalk.

ARRESTS:

  • 15-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: unit block of Campbell Avenue. Date: June 30 at 7:56 p.m.
  • 49-year-old male, 600 block of Furlong Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Warrant. Location: 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: July 2 at 7:44 p.m.
