Haverford Football Raises $6K For Cancer Foundation
The Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation is $6,000 richer thanks to the annual Fords Fight For Life Night event. Well done!

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford football's annual Fords Fight For Life Night was held on Oct. 5. And this year, the event generated a substantial amount of money for a local cancer foundation.
The Haverford High School football team announced the event raised $6,000 for the Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation.
According to the district, the Kevin Cain Foundation aims to provide assistance to families coping with the financial burden of fighting cancer.

Fords Fights For Life Night allows a person or group to sponsor a jersey in honor of, or remembrance of, a family member or friend who is fighting or bravely fought an illness or disability.
A Haverford High School football player wore that jersey in the game against Penncrest High School on Oct. 5.

After the game during an on-field ceremony, the player presented the jersey to the individual or family being honored as a keepsake.
