HAVERFORD, PA — Haverford High School is among the top-rated public high schools in Philadelphia and its suburbs, according to a new ranking released this week by Philadelphia Magazine.
The magazine used data from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education and the National Center for Education Statistics to compile the 40 Top-Rated Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs.

According to the magazine's summary, Haverford High School's student enrollment is 1,886. The graduation percentage is 96 percent, and of those, 88 percent go on to college. The school's student-teacher ratio is 16:1. The average SAT scores are 596/584 (verbal/math).
