Eagles Playoff Pep Rally At Haverford Middle School Canceled

The School District of Haverford Township is closed Friday, meaning the Eagles playoff pep rally has been canceled.

HAVERTOWN, PA – The planned Philadelphia Eagles playoff pep rally scheduled for 1 p.m. in the Haverford Middle School gymnasium has been canceled after the district announced it will be closed Friday, Jan. 5.

The school will host the rally at 1 p.m. Friday in the gymnasium, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia.

NBC Sports Philadelphia officials said they are looking at new dates to possibly reschedule the event.

With a 13-3 record, the Eagles are entering the playoffs as strong contenders for the Super Bowl. Despite Carson Wentz's season-ending injury, Nick Foles has instilled hope in fans that a Super Bowl title is still within reach.

The team clinched the NFC East after defeating the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 10 and secured home field advantage by trumping the Raiders in a 19-10 win on Christmas Day. In their win over the Giants on Dec. 17, the team snagged a first round bye, as well.

Tickets to the Birds' opening round of Division play on Jan. 13 against a t0-be-determined opponent went on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4 only on Ticketmaster. Fan can also get tickets by calling (800) 745-3000.
