Haverford Township Food Drive Continues Wednesday, July 15

You can support hundreds of residents struggling to put food on the table at Haverford Township's weekly food drive.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA— You can support hundreds of residents struggling to put food on the table at Haverford Township's weekly food drive.

Since late May, Haverford Township has been collecting non-perishable food, paper products,and dog/cat food each week and deliver it to food banks around the township.

The food drive continues Wednesday, July 15 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the CREC, which is located at 9000 Parkview Dr. in Haverford.

Items needed include:

  • Canned Food
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly
  • Apple Sauce
  • Cereal
  • Oatmeal
  • Coffee
  • Pasta
  • Tomato Sauce (no glass)
  • Instant Rice
  • Cookies/Chips
  • Pancake Mix & Syrup
  • Paper Towels
  • Toilet Paper
  • Dish Soap/Shampoo
  • Toothpaste
  • Detergent
  • Dog & Cat Food

Before driving to the CREC, make sure to place your items in a bag or box and put them in the back of your car or trunk.
