Help Clean Cobbs Creek In Haverford Sunday

The Darby Creek Valley Association is hosting stream clean ups all over the area this weekend and next weekend and Haverford is on the list of areas that will get some TLC. The DCVA will hold a clean up event this weekend that will help beautify Cobbs Creek.

The event will be held at 1 p.m. and gloves and bags will be provided to attendees, so there's no need to lug your own to the event.

"We can always use more help," Bennett said. "Also, we need volunteers to take photographs of the people and the creek and the trash and send them back to us."
