Months-Long Darby Road Closure Begins May 24 In Haverford
Darby Road will be closed through September due to PECO gas main work, according to PennDOT. See details on the closure here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Darby Road in Haverford Township will have long-term traffic impacts due to gas man work from PECO, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, Darby Road will close between College Avenue and Sproul Road/Route 320 Monday, May 24 through Monday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate the work.
Then, a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week closure will be in effect on the same portion of Darby Road from Tuesday, June 1 through Thursday, Aug. 19.

On Aug. 20, the road will once again only be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the same area through Thursday, Sept. 30
The road will be detoured during all closures.

Drivers will be directed to use Sproul Road/Route 320, Bryn Mawr Avenue, Haverford Road, and College Avenue
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
