More Assistance Available For Delco Residents Impacted by Isaias
Delaware County officials provided more resources available for residents who suffered impacts from Tropical Storm Isaias.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Officials in Delaware County said more help is available for residents impacted by Tropical Storm Isaias.
County officials recently announced its partnership with Voluntary Agencies Active in Disaster (VOAD) to establish a Hurricane Isaias Home Cleanup Hotline to support affected homeowners. Residents impacted by the storm can contact VOAD at 1-844-965-1386.
However, more help is available through other outlets, according to the county.

Residents can contact the Red Cross Disaster Assistance Line to get information on Emergency Disaster Relief and Case Management at 877-272-7337.
For housing assistance, residents can contact the Community Action Agency of Delaware County at 610-874-8451.

Help with food insecurity is available online here.
Additionally, residents are urged to call their municipality to report damage and ask for guidance. They are asked to take geo-tagged photos of the damage. Go online here for help locating your municipality number.
The Hurricane Isaias Home Cleanup Hotline can assist residents with:
- cutting and/or removing fallen trees and branches;
- removing affected drywall, flooring, and appliances;
- tarping roofs;
- and mitigating mold
The Hurricane Isaias Home Cleanup Hotline will stay open through Aug. 28.
Calls are answered by volunteers during business hours, but residents can call and leave a message at any time. A volunteer will return the call as soon as possible.
The hotline does not offer information about insurance, questions about FEMA assistance, or provide financial support.
