More Mail-In Ballot Drop Boxes Open Around Delaware County

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Officials in Delaware County opened more mail-in ballot drop boxes in the county Monday.

The county initially opened 32 boxes around the county last week.

Now, several more boxes are open.

Newtown Square

Parkside

Ridley Park

The boxes are available for residents to drop off ballots 24 hours a day, seven days a week through 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

However, the following boxes have limited hours. The hours are below:

• Chadds Ford — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Chester City Hall — Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Ridley Park — Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Upper Darby Voter Service Center — Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Media Govt Building — Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.

Each ballot drop box is secured in place, locked and sealed. County election personnel will collect the ballots daily.

Voters may deposit only their own ballot in the drop boxes.

The boxes were purchased with grant funds from the Center for Tech and Civic Life.
