Numerous Chances For Coronavirus Vaccinations In Delco This Week

See when and where you can get one of the three coronavirus vaccines in Delaware County this week.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Numerous locations around Delaware County are offering free coronavirus vaccinations this week.

All vaccinations are free, and do not require identification or health insurance.

The Moderna vaccine will be offered to individuals 18 years of age and older at the Keystone First Wellness Center, 1929 West Ninth St. in Chester, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, as well as Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Moderna will also be available at the Delaware County Wellness Center, 125 Chester Ave. in Yeadon, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Pfizer vaccine will be offered from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Delaware County Wellness Center, and is also being offered at Springfield Hospital, 190 West Sproul Road in Springfield, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday.

Pfizer is available to individuals 12 years of age and older. Parents or guardians must provide consent for 12 to 15-year-olds who are receiving the Pfizer vaccine from Delaware County Government and must plan to be present during the vaccination.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered at the Delaware County Community College
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and at 69 th Street Terminal from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Great Hall. No appointment is needed, and walk-ins are encouraged.

In addition to these large-scale vaccination sites—each capable of vaccinating hundreds of individuals each day—the Delaware County COVID-19 Task Force is hosting a variety of smaller municipality-partnered vaccination clinics as part of the ongoing Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccination Program.

Clinics will be held at small pedestrian- and parking-friendly sites in Bethel, Concord, Chadds Ford, Chester Heights, Edgmont, Media, Middletown Township, Newtown Township, and Thornbury.

Single-dose Johnson & Johnson and two- dose Moderna will be offered.

Delaware County residents who are homebound or unable to safely leave their residence also have the option to receive the vaccine in their safety of their own home through the County’s Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program. To schedule a homebound vaccination for themselves or a loved one, residents should call the COVID-19 Call Center at (484) 276-2100.

The county also provides second doses of Moderna and Pfizer vaccine to Delaware County residents who received their first dose at a non-County vaccine site but are unable to keep their second dose appointment at that site.
