PECO Work To Affect West Chester Pike Traffic Next Week

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week in Haverford Township for utility construction, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, PECO crews will be working daily next week, forcing lane closures with flagging on West Chester Pike/Route 3.

The affected portion of the road is between Darby and Township Line roads in Upper Darby and Haverford townships, PennDOT said.

Work will take place each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
