DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County experienced intense flooding Tuesday due to heavy rains from Tropical Storm Isaias.
So how much rain fell in the county during the storm?
According to the National Weather Service, the highest rainfall total was 7.48 inches and the lowest was 3.52.

- Swarthmore — 6.01 inches at 3:10 p.m.
- Thornton — 5.81 inches at 3:11 p.m.
- Thornton — 5.81 inches at 2 p.m.
- Upper Chichester — 5.75 inches 3:01 p.m.
- Newtown Square — 5.27 inches at 3:15 p.m.
- Media — 5.25 inches at 3:15 p.m.
- Drexel Hill — 5.15 inches at 3:15 p.m.
- Norwood — 4.91 inches at 3:09 p.m.
- Wayne (Radnor PW) — 4.25 inches at 3:09 p.m.
- Chadds Ford — 3.61 inches at 12:35 p.m.

The highest rainfall total in all of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey was in Wynnewood, which was 8.59 inches.
