See How Haverford SD's Median Income Compares To Others

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Expensive homes and high incomes are quite prevalent in the Philadelphia suburbs, especially the Main Line area.

According to a new report from the Philadelphia Business Journal, the School District of Haverford Township has the 13th highest median household income and the third highest median home prices of Philly-area districts.

The publication recently drafted a list of the districts' median household incomes and median home prices.

As for the School District of Haverford Township, its median income of $107,494 makes it the 13th highest in the region. The district also has median home value of $372,700.

These ranks were created based on the recent U.S. Census data for school districts across the state.

Four districts in Pennsylvania had median home values exceeding $500,000, all of which are in the Philadelphia region.

Radnor Township School District has the state's highest median home value, at $651,600, and the eighth highest household income with $114,063.

The Lower Merion School District has the area's second highest median income with $128,410.

The Tredyffrin-Easttown School District has the highest median income, which is $133,983.
