Wynnewood Road Closing Through Late August in Haverford Township
Due to the closure of a portion of Wynnewood Road on weekdays, drivers will be detoured through late August.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Wynnewood Road will close for several weeks in Haverford Township due to water main extension work, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said Wynnewood Road will close weekdays from Monday, July 13 through Friday, Aug. 28 while Aqua Pennsylvania crews extend water mains.
Wynnewood Road will close weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected stretch of road is between Haverford and County Line roads.
During the closure, Wynnewood Road drivers will be detoured over Haverford Road and Argyle Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
