Anderson’s mother told authorities her son said he stabbed Neill because he tried to sexually assault him, according to The Intelligencer.

The pair reportedly had an on again, off again relationship with one another that Anderson's mother believed was sexual in nature.

Anderson was initially charged with first degree murder.

Anderson is also being charged with driving under the influence in an unrelated incident, criminal dockets show.
