Sacred Adornment: Jewelry as Belief in Ancient Egypt is the name of a new exhibit at Glencairn Museum.

Join us, Thursday, February 4, at 1 pm, following the Friends meeting when Leah Smith, Visitor Experience Manager and Museum Educator, will deliver a presentation about the exhibit.

The presentation will be accompanied by beautiful images of the Pitcairn collection of Egyptian necklaces, rings, and pendants as well as the “King Tut” dress custom made for Mrs. Pitcairn with ancient beads sewn into the neckline.
