Lower Moreland Teen Arrested In Vehicle Thefts Case

Serial thefts from vehicles have rocked the Hatboro area over recent weeks.

A teenage boy has been arrested in relation to the serial thefts from vehicles that have rocked the Hatboro area over recent weeks.

The suspect, 17, is from Upper Moreland Township, Hatboro police announced Monday morning.

Police added that they found in his possession a bag containing numerous items that appeared to have been taken from vehicles.

Incidents have been occurring in Hatboro since at least August, but have increased in frequency in recent weeks.

Vehicle thefts have also been reported in Towamencin and Tredyffrin Township. It’s unclear if the incidents are related.
