Inside, he shot her twice, and later said he "wasn't sure if she made it," the affidavit states.

Edwards' son heard a popping sound in the house as he arrived home from work and, when he went inside, saw Torres standing there holding the shotgun, police said.

Torres pointed the shotgun at him and said that his mother had ruined his life, then fled the scene, the affidavit states.

Edwards was taken by emergency responders to Abington Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
