Jesse & Blanca
“When I started making music with Blanca,” says Jesse, “she helped me breathe life and meaning into the performance of my original compositions. They began to leap off the page as we explored and listened attentively to what it was these musical inventions longed for in their expression.
“From her classical training and musical aesthetics, she brought a flexibility, an elasticity, to the approach that I hadn’t yet experienced, while I brought my original content and ideas and a background in improvised music. Together we’ve created something truly unique and continually evolving.”

“Music is a universal language,” says Blanca. “It brings all sorts of beings together. From different languages, cultures, times and eras, thanks to music and its openness, we can connect on an inner and outer level beyond our understanding. It’s a gift and a right to resonate with each other.”
