Quick First Look: LMHS Spring Concert
Here's a sneak peek photo from the 2013 Lower Moreland High School Spring Concert.

The photo seen above was taken during a performance of "Pachinko" by Paul Yoder, as the final selection of the 2013 Lower Moreland High School Spring Concernt, on the evening of May 2.
The high school's Symphonic Band is performing with the district's Music Department Lead Teacher Erin Stroup conducting.
Stroup, whose back is covered by a long line of silly string, explained that the string, thrown confetti, balloons and general joviality is a tradition by the Symphonic Band students as a farewell to the departing senior student members.

One parent also explained, per tradition, the festive mess was left to be cleaned up by freshman members of the Symphonic Band.
While the youthful antics perfectly matched the playful and upbeat music, Stroup said that doing both at the same time is a true testament to the skill of the music students.

“It’s actually a really hard piece,” Stroup said.
Over 300 students of the high school's respective music programs performed during the concert.
