I am a doctor of physical therapy certified in the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy and I specialize in this non-traditional active therapy that focuses on identifying and understanding an individual’s overall patterns of pain and movement and in teaching self assessment and self treatment techniques as well as how to prevent and minimize recurrence. All that is needed is the ability of the therapist and patient to see and hear each other for observational movement assessment, testing and home program instruction.
