Woman Shot Dead In Lower Moreland Home, Suspect In Custody: Cops

LOWER MORELAND, PA — One person is dead after a shooting inside a Lower Moreland home, authorities said, and a suspect is in custody.

The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on the 2300 block of Dale Road in the township.

Officials said the shooting was "domestic in nature," but no further information was immediately available.

A homicide investigation is underway.

The victim has been identified as a woman.

There is no danger to the public, police said.
