Young Huntingdon Valley Actress Performs in "Matilda the Musical"

Melania Maria Zalipsky performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.

Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this Broadway hit and winner of 16 Best Musical awards!

Melania is a 6th grader at the Murray Avenue School and resident of Huntingdon Valley, PA with a love for performance. Previously, Melania made her Walnut debut in the 2017 production of Annie. Off the Walnut stage, Melania could also be seen in film and television works such as The Greatest Showman, Blacklist, Bull and more! Melania has received dance training from the Metropolitan Ballet Academy and The Voloshky School of Ukranian Dance. In her spare time, Melania can be found performing at the for the residents of Deer Meadows, St. Joseph's, and Southampton Estates. Melania hopes to continue sharing her talents with her community and beyond!
