Dog Remains Missing After Destructive Fire In Lower Providence

A fire back in May completely destroyed a local family's home. All the residents escaped safely, but their beloved dog remains missing.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A fire back in May completely destroyed a Lower Providence home, and their beloved dog remains missing.

All of the people inside the home on Vaux Lane were able to escape quickly and safely after the propane tank exploded, but Boomer, their dog, ran off. There has been no sign of him since.

Search parties were quickly organized for Boomer, a Bernese Mountain Dog. Numerous residents around the area joined in the search. But thus far, they have not had any luck.
