New Restaurant, Baba's Chicken And Brews, Coming To Audubon
The restaurant is named for the owner's 82-year-old grandfather, who is trekking to Montco from his home in Kosovo for the opening.
AUDUBON, PA — A unique new chicken and beer restaurant is opening up its doors in Montgomery County this month.
Babas Hot Chicken and Brews will hold its official ribbon cutting ceremony at its new location on S. Trooper Road in Audubon on Feb. 26.
The eatery is named from the grandfather of Leo, Jim, and Pep Osmanollaj, affectionately dubbed "Baba," a resident of Prizren, Kosovo. Baba was famous during their childhoods for his hot chicken..

"The flavors were not just a taste of home but a connection to their heritage," the eatery shared. "It was these memories that fueled the brothers' desire to share Baba's iconic recipe with a wider audience."
Baba is making the trek from Kosovo to Montgomery County for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We begged for a while with Baba to get the hot chicken recipe to make this a reality,” the brothers added. “Once he agreed, we knew we had to do this in his honor and continue his legacy with the best hot chicken we grew up eating as kids.”
They'll also feature beers from Töska Restaurant & Brewery.
The opening event will take place at 11 a.m. on Feb. 26. The event will include a free sandwich for the first 100 guests and tunes from local local DJ Spinatra until 2 p.m.
