Local authorities are searching for a man who has exposed himself, masturbated in public before walkers in both townships.

After five reported cases, the area's police are working together to find a man that has been exposing himself in public.

Lower Providence and Upper Providence Township Police Departments are investigating five reported incidents of indecent exposure occurring between April 6 and May 12 in both Lower Providence or Upper Providence townships.

The incidents have occurred in the late afternoon and early evening as area residents walk along roads or trails, according to police. Each of the five reports were filed as having happened between 3:20 and 7:25 p.m.

Police say that the man would be in place prior to the walkers approaching, jump out of his vehicle without any pants on, or with his pants pulled down.

The offender would look at the victim while masturbating, according to reports. During one of the incidents, police said "the offender spoke with a Middle Eastern or Indian accent."

The reports all list the same description of a male, between ages 25 and 40, between 5'5" and 5'10" in height. The victims say he is of Middle Eastern or Indian descent, though one though he may be of a Hispanic descent. He is of a slender to medium build, with short, black hair and is clean-shaven, police said.

The vehicle, police said, is a "clean silver or gray four-door sedan." None of the victims were sure of the make or model.
