Lower Providence Man Served With 'American Sniper'

Bradley Cooper stars in “American Sniper,” the story of Chris Kyle.

A Norristown native served with Chris Kyle, the man whose story is told in “American Sniper.”

Marine Sgt. Earl J. Catagnus Jr., who now lives in Lower Providence, was in Fallujah, Iraq, with Kyle, The Times Herald said.

“He was the best SEAL that I ever knew,” Catagnus told The Times Herald.
