Lower Providence Parks And Rec Hosting Kids' Cooking Classes Throughout March
Lower Providence wants to ensure your kids CAN take the heat in the kitchen by teaching an important life skill.
Cooking is a skill that often is relegated to electives in education settings, and even then it can be glossed over fairly quickly. Luckily, Lower Providence wants to help your kids master the kitchen by offering kids cooking classes in March.
On Saturdays starting March 4 and ending March 25, Lower Providence Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Kitchen Wizards to offer weekly cooking lessons for kids 8 to 13 years old. Each course is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Participants can sign up for all four weeks of cooking instruction, or do a piecemeal approach and pick only certain classes to attend.
