Lower Providence Police Hosting Drug Take-Back Day

Students from Arcola Intermediate School will help officers collect old medication to dispose of safely.

It's springtime and that means spring cleaning. While you're dusting shelves and going through the drawers and cabinets tossing old junk mail and expired food, make sure you clean out a very important cabinet the safe way – your medicine cabinet.

This Saturday, April 27, Arcola Intermediate School students will be joining the Lower Providence Police at the police department (100 Parklane Drive in Eagleville) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Drug Enforcement Administration's 6th annual drug take-back event.

Students will be helping officers collect old and expired prescription medication so they can be safely disposed of.
