According to the district, Methacton’s Post-Prom event is celebrating its 14th year of offering students a safe, fun alternative to private after-prom parties. Eligible juniors and seniors at Methacton High School are invited to the free post-prom event even if they do not attend the prom.
The annual tradition is one of the region’s most successful events, with over 90% of Methacton High School's junior and senior classes participating, according to a release issued by the school district. More than 400 parents, teachers, support staff, administrators and community members volunteer to make the event a reality. Successful committee fundraisers and generous donations from community members and local business merchants help provide thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes.Â
