Summer Internships Available at Peter Wentz Farmstead
The historic farmstead is taking on interns interested in a career in history or museums.

Montgomery County has announced that the Peter Wentz Farmstead, the restored 18th Century Pennsylvania-German home and farm, is looking for a summer intern. Students interested in a history or museum career are encouraged to apply.
The internship offers experience with a broad range of museum responsibilities including:
- Public and educational programs
- Collections and curatorial work
- Day-to-day administrative tasks Â
The intern will also provide assistance with research for upcoming and long-term programming on topics including the Pennsylvania-German immigrant experience, 18th-century Pennsylvania women’s lives, Pennsylvania-German architecture and 1790s clothing and accessories. Interns will also work on collections database data entry and post-event visitor surveys.Â

The position is a paid internship with a very flexible schedule, Tuesday through Saturdays, eight to 10 hours per week. Internship can start as early as May 28.
Interested students must submit letters of interest by May 10.
