UPDATE: Eagleville Man's Wanted Status a Clerical Error
Daniel Carosello was found not guilty of violating a protection from abuse order in 2012, but a clerical error kept a warrant for his arrest active in the system.

Patch reported earlier this week on two Eagleville men wanted by the Pottstown Police on active warrants. One of those men, 53-year-old Daniel Carosello, was in fact, found not guilty in 2012 of the charges listed in the warrant.Â
Pottstown Police Sgt. Robert Thomas confirmed that Carosello was found not guilty of the charges, but said a clerical error originating in a district justice's office resulted in the warrant being kept active. That warrant was then listed on the department's Wanted Persons website.
The site still lists Carosello's information, now categorizing him as "in custody," though Sgt. Thomas confirmed that Carosello is not currently in custody, nor is he being sought by the department. His information will be removed from the site following approval by the chief of police.

"I have been an outstanding contractor in this community for over 30 years and this false information being published is defacing my character," wrote Carosello.
