Wednesday Night Mobile Home Fire Ruled Accidental

The Lower Providence Fire Marshal and Pennsylvania State Police were able to complete their investigation of an Oct. 3 mobile home fire, after successfully contacting the home owner today.

The fire incident, which occurred in the Sunnyside Mobile Home Park in Trooper, left a mobile home burnt beyond recovery. Initial reports stated that the homeowner was seen walking his dog, prior to the incident.

Lower Providence Township provided its latest update to an Oct. 3 mobile home fire investigation at approximately 3 p.m. today. 

According to a final update from the Township, once authorities made contact with the homeowner, the fire was deemed accidental. 

The American Red Cross is assisting with housing and immediate needs.
