Mornings are not for everyone, me included. Some can pop out of bed without an alarm and get their day started no problem. Then there’s individuals who need to set an alarm every 10 minutes because they know their sleeping beauty self is known for turning off alarms from time to time. Even if your alarm managed to wake you up, functioning is not possible without at least one cup of coffee. This used to be me. Mornings were the enemy and I would do anything in my power to sleep just five more minutes. You know, because 5 minutes really made a huge difference, or so I thought.
Waking up for work was a job in and of itself. Therefore waking up extra early to fit in a workout was completely out of the question. But when I noticed my days seemed to be less productive, I was feeling sluggish mid afternoon and I was not fitting in any physical activity because I was always tired after work, I knew something must change.
