6 Dead In East Whiteland From Coronavirus

The new coronavirus has now claimed half a dozen lives in East Whiteland Township, according to data provided Tuesday.

EAST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — New data from Chester County shows half a dozen people in East Whiteland Township have died from the new coronavirus.

According to Tuesday's data, East Whiteland has had six people die from the virus.

The township has 35 cases to date, which is 0.32 percent of its population.

Chester County overall has 942 cases and 49 deaths, as of Tuesday.

Tredyffrin Township has the most cases with 40. East Vincent Township has the most deaths with 13.

Location details are pending on 233 Chester County cases.

As of Tuesday, there have been 4,075 negative test results in Chester County.
