County Holds Hazardous Waste Collection
The collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Chester County will hold a collection of household hazardous waste and electronics waste Saturday at Owen J. Roberts Middle School in Pottstown.
The Chester County Solid Waste Authority has more details on what types of waste will be accepted in a flyer on its website (PDF).
Items that will not be accepted:

- unidentified waste
- tires
- explosives and ammunition
- latex paint
- appliances with freon
- used motor oil
- propane-helium tanks
- Household batteries and smoke detectors should be put into trash
