HHGregg Closing Oxford Valley Location, 14 Others In Pennsylvania
HHGregg announced that it would closing its Oxford Valley location along with 88 other locations nationwide by mid-April. Other locations to be shuttered include stores in King of Prussia and North Wales. Liquidation sales are beginning immediately.

Abington 7th Grader Named State Bee Finalist
Abington Junior High School 7th grade Anthony Snyder has been named a semifinalist in National Geographic State Bee competition. The second level of the National Geographic Bee competition is scheduled for March 31, and the winner will advance to National Geography Bee in Washington, D.C. The winner of the state contest receives $100 and numerous other prizes, while the national champion wins a $50,000 college scholarship and a paid trip to the Galapagos Islands.

Riddle Hospital EMS, Newtown Police And Fire Departments Recognized For Saving Young Boy's Life
The Newtown Square Fire Company, Newtown Township Police Department and Riddle Hospital EMS received the Life Saving Award after giving critical aid to a two-year-old who suffered an acute cardiac arrest in December. The boy also received a set of turnout gear and a certificate as an honorary Newtown Square Fire Company firefighter at the ceremony.
Phoenixville Students Raise $28,753 In Mini-THON
Phoenixville High School students and staff raised $28,753 at part of a mini-THON- double what they raised at last year's event. The funds went to the the Four Diamonds Fund, a pediatric cancer charity based out of Penn State Children’s Hospital.
Lower Southampton Officer Stole $51K From Fire Company To Fund Wedding, Buy Wave Runner: DA
The Bucks County District Attorney's office has announced that a Lower Southampton police officer has been charged with misappropriating more than $51,000 belonging to the Feasterville Volunteer Firefighters Relief Association. The man is accused of making improper loans to himself and five others while serving as vice president, treasurer and secretary of the association’s executive board. Among other things, he used the money on his wedding, his brother's wedding, and to buy a $5,500 Wave Runner
