Film Shot in Malvern and Morocco Plays in Bryn Mawr
'3 Percent' follows a man facing a grim future.
A short film produced by Malvern filmmaker Ron Strobel will be screened in Bryn Mawr next week.
3 Percent, the latest short film by Strobel's production company VideoNet, will be shown June 3 during “Open Screen Monday” at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute.
"[T]he film examines what happens when the main character loses everything he values in an instant, through no fault of his own," according to the Patch calendar listing. The YouTube trailer is attached to this article, and the full 17-minute version is also online.

The video was shot partly in Malvern and partly in Morocco, according to an email from Dede Crough, who handles VideoNet's marketing:
The opening shots of dad and the bench scenes were shot at Fairway Village. The getting out of the car and driving shots were on Ravine Road and the Great Valley Little League parking lot on King Rd. The doctor scenes were shot in Paoli at Dr. Barry Burkhardt’s office on Route 30.
