Former Phoenixville Woman, Successful Nurse, Dies At 51
Barbara Ebersole was known for her love of the outdoors, sunshine, warm weather, and fitness.

EBERSOLE, BARBARA LEIGH, BS, BSN, RN, 51, of Naples FL, died peace-fully at Riviera Palms Skilled Nursing Facility on Monday, May 2, 2016. Born in Lansdale PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Elmer Ebersole and Barbara (Wolf) Ebersole and her partner, Colonel Victor A. Marcus.
She was a graduate of North Penn High School Class of 1982, Penn State University Class of 1986, and Drexel University School of Nursing Class of 2007. Activities and Societies: Sigma Theta Tau and the Honor Society of Nursing. Barbara is known for her love of the out-doors, sunshine, warm weather, and fitness. She participated in several Outward Bound challenges.

She was a nurse at Naples Community Hospital, and was studying to become a mid-wife and pursuing her Master's in Nursing until falling ill in January 2010.
Surviving in addition to her parents are sisters, Kirsten Dickson-Ebersole and her wife Jennifer Dickson-Ebersole of Phoenixville PA and Janine Ebersole of Spring City PA. Nephews, Peter Sankus and Zachary Ebersole of Spring City PA, and Robert Dickson-Ebersole of Phoenixville PA. Lifelong friend, Barry Schuck of New Port Richey FL. She is preceded in death by her niece, Ashley Loren Sankus of Phoenixville PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at Parkside United Church of Christ, 505 Main Street, Phoenixville PA, on Friday May 6, 2016, at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's name may be made to Parkside United Church of Christ.
