WILLISTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Willistown residents can get rid of yard waste at a free wood chipping event on April 27.
The township is hosting the free event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 27 at the Willistown Township building.
Willistown Township residents only can bring tree, bush, and shrub limbs and branches no greater than 8 inches in diameter to be chipped.

Materials will be unloaded and chipped free of charge.
Those looking to use the service are asked to place all cut ends of the wood facing towards the rear of the vehicle or trailer.

Wooden furniture, ladders, fence posts, railings, telephone poles, landscaping wood, construction wood, paneling, scrap wood, or wood with nails, hooks or metal, will be accepted.
Leaves and grass will not be accepted either.
Willistown Township is located at 688 Sugartown Road in Malvern.
