Great Valley SD Hosting Discussion On Kids And Stress

An interactive presentation will focus on stresses felt by kids in Kindergarten through eighth grade.

MALVERN, PA — The Great Valley School District is hosting a presentation that will shed light on the stresses felt by young kids and adolescents.

The district and Be a Part of the Conversation are hosting an interactive presentation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the district, 47 Church Road in Malvern.

Parents whose children are in Kindergarten through eighth grade, along with district educators, are invited to the interactive presentation.

The event will address the stress being seen in young children and adolescents.

An interactive conversation about ways that families and educators can foster resiliency and guide young people toward healthy ways to cope with stress, rather than experimenting with substances, or engaging in other risk-taking behaviors will highlight the evening.
