Help Wawa Beat Sheetz On Twitter To Support Philly Food Charity
If Wawa can get more Twitter followers than Sheetz by Dec. 6, Philabundance will get $10,000 to provide meals for needy folks in the area.
Did you know @Wawa has less Twitter Followers than @Sheetz? I want to fix that. If we can #followwawa and get their follower count ahead of Sheetz I will donate $10,000 to @Philabundance providing 20,000 meals for the hungry track live: https://t.co/NK1hSQgp9w Please Share and RT pic.twitter.com/kbZGMV5AnI

Wawas versus Sheetz: It's a convenience store battle ever raging in Pennsylvania. And one Philly-area man wants to boost Wawa in a unique way while supporting a charity in Philadelphia.
Ryan Schott has launched the "Follow Wawa Challenge."
The challenge aims to get Wawa more followers on its Twitter page than Sheetz.

Schott said he was inspired to launch the challenge after tweeting at Sheetz while in Sheetz territory and realized the western PA chain has more twitter followers than Wawa. About 160,000 more in fact.
As part of the challenge, Schott said if Wawa's following can surpass Sheetz's by Dec. 6, he will donate $10,000 to Philabundance.

"I'm putting my money where my mouth is," Schott wrote on the challenge's website. "If we can band together and push the Wawa follower count ahead of Sheetz, I will donate $10,000 to Philabundance, the area's largest hunger relief organization funding 20,000 meals for people in need."
As of about 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, Wawa has roughly 354,000 followers while Sheetz has about 518,000.
