Historical Building's Style Is Carpenter Gothic
Plenty of commenters guessed the location quickly.
Well, hopefully the massive correct response to last week's historical photo will help repair all our egos from the week everyone guessed the wrong pond.
Donna was the first to chime in with the correct location:Â
Isn't it on Rte 30 in front of the movie theater, I think it's a hairdressers now.
According to Tim Caban of the East Whiteland Historical Commission, the address is 638 Lancaster Avenue in Frazer. A historical narrative provides some background on the building:

Datestone of 1906 matches the popular use of the Carpenter Gothic architectural style at the turn of the century. Frank Hardart who owned Glen Loch across the road as a country home, was the founder of the Horn and Hardart Automat restaurant chain.

Agree with Donna on location on rt. 30 west of the movie theater. It's not the hairdresser though, maybe a contractor? This is one of a handful of houses remaining that used to be residences along the Lincoln Highway. Sidebar---The current Jack's Pizza was a "tourist camp", (early version of a motel)--the tiny bldgs behind the main bldg. In 1923,my grandparents drove from PA to California using the Lincoln Hwy and other grand roads of the day---and it was a splurge to stay at a tourist camp instead of the tent they carried.
