But how much rain fell in the Malvern area?
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey totaled rainfall in the Philadelphia area and provided the figures online.

In Exton, the NWS says 2.1 inches of rain fell by 9:40 a.m. Monday, according to a trained spotter. Devault saw 2.22 inches, according to the NWS.
The highest total recorded in Pennsylvania was at the Doylestown Airport where 2.85 inches of rain fell.

Eagleville saw the least rain with 1.62 inches, according to the NWS.
