Informational Event On Vaping Coming To Great Valley High School
Attendees will learn ways to can help kids to break away from cultural pressures, why the teenage brain is built to take risks, and more.
MALVERN, PA — As more actions are taken by local, state, and federal officials to regulate the vaping industry, some may not know details of the craze that is affecting young people all over the country.
To help educate the public, Great Valley School District and Be Part of the Conversation are hosting a presentation on vaping.
The presentation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 at Great Valley High School.

"Clearing the Air" will focus on all things vaping, with special attention paid to younger people who are vaping.
People are vaping nicotine, marijuana's psychoactive chemical THC, and various flavors.

At the presentation, attendees will learn ways to can help kids to break away from cultural pressures, why the teenage brain is built to take risks, how to encourage smart choices among teens, and the implications of the various kinds of vaping.
Patrick Dowling, LPC, a licensed clinician who works with adolescents and young adults and a prevention specialist from Caron Treatment Center will be on hand at the presentation.
