Kids Invited to Go Birding Saturday in Willistown
Willistown Conservation Trust will hold its annual 'Kids Get Out and Bird' event this weekend.

Spring migration has ended, but nesting season is upon us, and Willistown Conservation Trust is inviting young birders to Rushton Woods Preserve Saturday.Â
The annual "Kids Get Out and Bird" event will be held Saturday morning from 8 to 11 a.m., according to an email from Blake Goll, a WCT educator and bird blogger:
If we're observant, we are sure to find nests of bluebirds, tree swallows, woodpeckers, indigo buntings, mockingbirds and more. Â To contribute to conservation, I'll band any bluebird babies we find that are old enough!
After hiking around Rushton with our binoculars and seeing firsthand why habitat is so important, we will finish off the morning with some snacks, leaf printing and bird art.
Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to Goll by Friday via email at bhg@wctrust.org. Rushton Farm is located on Delchester Road south of Goshen Road.
