MALVERN, PA — Chester County will move into the "green" phase of Gov. Tom Wolf's plan to reopen the state's economy. So as the next step nears, we are looking at the latest coronavirus figures on Malvern, Charlestown, Willistown, and East Whiteland.
Data provided Friday shows the latest coronavirus figures in each municipality.
All together, the four municipalities account for 251 of Chester County's 3,479 cases.

As of Friday, Willistown Township has 122 cases and 49 deaths. There were no new cases or new deaths since last Friday.
East Whiteland Township saw just one more case since last week, bringing its total count to 83. The township has only seen one death to date.

In Charlestown Township, there was no case increase since last week and no deaths reported. The township has 31 cases.
Lastly, Malvern Borough has just 16 cases and no deaths. The last increase in Malvern cases was reported June 12.
Overall, Chester County has seen 309 deaths. Of those deaths, 246 were nursing home residents.
Nursing home residents account for 997 of the county's 3,479 cases, as of Friday.
