Main Line Food Pantry Giving Furloughed Federal Workers Help

Regardless of where they live, furloughed federal worker impacted by the partial federal government shutdown can get help from the pantry.

MAIN LINE, PA — As the partial federal government shutdown drags on, a Main Line food pantry is offering help to affected federal government workers.

The Ardmore Food Pantry at St. Mary's Episcopal Church is serving any government employee impacted by the shutdown.

Assistance is available for any worker who shows a federal ID and is open to any worker, no matter where they live.

The pantry said it typically serves the Lower Merion Township area, but is extending its reach for federal employees who are not being paid and in need of food.
