Main Line School Hosting Kid-Parent Communication Presentation

Clinical psychologist Wendy Mogel will speak about communicate more effectively and with less conflict at a Main Line School in January.

MAIN LINE PA – A clinical psychologist who is a New York Times bestselling author and international public speaker will give a talk on communicating with kids at a Main Line school in January.

Dr. Wendy Mogel will be the speaker the sixth annual Radnor Speaker Series, presented by the Agnes Irwin School and the Radnor Township School District parent-teacher organizations.

The free talk will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Agnes Irwin School.

The event open to parents, teachers and administrators from both the Agnes Irwin School and the Radnor Township School District, as well as members of our neighboring communities.

Mogel will share insights from her clinical experience and offer ways to communicate more effectively and with less conflict by changing our posture, tone, tempo, word choice, and more.

She will also address the distraction of digital devices, how they impact our connection with our families, and what we can do about it.

With a few "voice lessons" for parents, Mogel will share how family conversations can be transformed.

Mogel serves on the scientific advisory board of "Parents Magazine" and is a frequently invited to weigh in on issues affecting family life by national media.

Over the past six years, the Radnor Speaker Series has hosted child psychologist and anxiety expert Dr. Katherine Dahsgaard, best-selling authors and behavioral experts Rachel Simmons and Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair, former NBA all-star, recovering addict and motivational speaker Chris Herren, and internationally recognized author, educator and social activist Rosalind Wiseman.
