Main Line's Emma Boettcher Ends 'Jeopardy!' Run
While the local's streak is over, she'll be forever remembered as the woman who brought down the legendary James Holzhauer.
PAOLI, PA — Sadly, Main Liners no longer have a "Jeopardy!" champ to root for after Paoli's Emma Boettcher's run ended Thursday night.
Boettcher, after a three-game streak that got her nearly $100,000, lost Thursday night to Brendan Roach, a policy researcher advisor from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
No matter how long Boettcher was set to be on the program, she will forever be known as the woman who brought down James Holzhauer, the man who "broke" the game.
